1. I have no children of my own, but I have four stepchildren and a few of the four-legged kind.
2. My day job is with politicians.
3. I once was a high school business teacher.
4. I can resist chocolate but not BBQ potato chips.
5. The only foreign country I've ever been to is Canada.
6. I've experienced a blackout caused by volcanic ash and still have little containers of ash that I collected from the 8 inches that accumulated on the balcony of my apartment.
7. I love football. I'll watch it 24X7.
